I have been bug tagged- which means that i get to blog about 10 things i hate- wont this be fun!!
1. Cupboards that get left open- I hate it when i walk into the kitchen after someone has been in the cupboards and they are all left open! Drives me crazy!!

2. A Pile Of Laundry I Haven't Folded- It seems to pile up at my house, and it's never done unless everyone is walking around naked!

3. Going to get something and its gone- I can go to the store or go out to lunch with some friends and put the leftovers in the fridge, i can go to get them and somebody else already ate them!

4. My house being a mess- It seems that i never have the time to clean up the house and it piles and piles and piles up. Then i spend my few days off i get cleaning up! I wish i had a maie! LOL

5. Dishes that are left in the sink that have water in them- It drives me crazy when i walk in the house and i find dishes that were used to cook the night before in the sink filled with water. Why cant when your cleaning up run some water over the pan/plate and clean out the nasty stuff. At least if it gets left for a day or two your whole house doesn't stink.

6. People who call into work about stupid stuff- People who call into work because their neighbor pushed snow on their property, or someone who calls in and has no information about the reason they are calling.

7. Animal Complaints -- enough said

8. Paying Bills- I hate paying bills- it seems when you are finally getting to where your about to pay something off- something else happens

9. The thought of having surgery on wednesday- my guts are going to be sore :( then i cant go swim for like 4 wks after.... blah

10. Not Enough Hours in the Day- Sometimes I wish there were two of me so I can get more stuff done!

Search and Rescue

As many of you know i am involved in Search and Rescue, and frankly it has become a huge part of my life. I have met some wonderful people throughout the almost 5 years that i have been involved. Here are some random shots from the different things that we get involved in

Light Parade - Nov 2008





A couple years ago there was a 14yo boy that drowned in Idaho Falls. We spent 6 days looking for him in the river. Luckily we were able to find him. Zakk's mom is an amazing women, she got together with Brian Regan( Zakks fav comedian) and got him to come to Idaho Falls and donate everything to Bingham, Bonneville and Jefferson search and rescue. He has done this twice now!! These are some pictures of the members of the unit after the show and some of us at dinner at Chili's in Idaho Falls after it was over. The picture of all of us standing up has Brian and his wife in it as well. Brian is coming to blackfoot in Feb -- If you can i would advise to go he is hilarious!





Every year the dive team competes with the other dive teams in this area in what we like to call the "Dive Olympics". We kick butt every year! This year we have them on Feb 7th, i will let you know how it goes!!

Swimming with the Fishies

Channel 6 news came and did a story on Search and Rescue a few months back, these are just some pictures. Brenda Baumgartner actually suited up and got in the water even though it was 60 degrees. Some of the pictures are of her using are new comgear that we just got. The mask allows you to be able to talk to a person on the shore and let them know what you see under water. The guy on shore wears a headset and the rope that is hooked to the diver is also hooked to a box that the guy on shore holds. There is wires and stuff that are in the rope that allow the diver and the guy in shore to talk. Its really awesome to use, but is way hard to get used too!

August 07

I was looking through some pictures the other day and i found these and i thought it would be fun to just put some random stuff on here. These are from August of 2007 - i know that they are a little old but i thought that it would be fun. The first picture is sideways (i think its the first one) but its a picture of landon after we had a mud fight, he had mud in his ears, hair and as you can see even his teeth!

New adventure!!

A couple months ago i decided that i wanted to learn how to decorate cakes, i have not had a ton of time to practice so i am not very good at it yet! At work for christmas we had a christmas party and we all drew names to get a gift. The girl that had me got me the greatest gift! It was a huge basket full, and i mean full of cake decorating stuff! I was so excited! I also got a ton more from my parents for christmas along with a book on how to decorate cupcakes! There is everything from decorating them with bugs and butterflies to tv dinners and aliens.



There are several gals at work that are pregnant right now, We are having a baby shower for them in feb. I told them that i would make the cakes! This is what i am going to try and do, we will see what happens!! Wish me luck
