Thank you, Thank you!!!

I am so excited about the warm weather we have been having!! It has been so nice to finally get outside and get some yard work done! So a little bit of an update since the last post.
We had kind of a hold up in getting the house sold! They think they have figured the issues out but we are still waiting to hear back so still keep your fingers crossed for us!

Drew is in Boise right now and seems to be enjoying the warm weather as well! He is over there for Marine Patrol, teaching other Marine deputies how to do their jobs! Even though i hate it when he is gone, it is something that he truly enjoys so i have to support him in that! He was telling me the other day with all the water we have been getting that they have already had 3 boating accidents in the last week and one fatality, so all of you who go out and enjoy the water PLEASE! BE CAREFUL!!

Saturday, i helped with the "Tip a Cop" fundraiser for Special Olympics at Red Robin in Idaho Falls. To give a little background on the event, Officers go and basically follow waiters/waitresses around the restaurant and help them with giving food, drinks and bussing tables. Everything that we were tiped went directly to the Special Olympic program. Jake has been working really hard on trying to make this work and i gotta hand it to him! It turned out really well! That night he informed me on April 25th he will become I think it is the Regional Director for this part of the State and I will become the Area Directior. That means I will be over the areas from St. Anthony to Pocatello! WISH ME LUCK! Anyways we ended up raising $1,514.63 for the program! We later found out that we made the most out of the entire state so Thank You to the officers that participated and all the many people who donated! It truly goes to a great cause! We are also planning a Mud Volleyball Tournament on July 18, assuming we can get Sandy Downs for the event! I will keep you posted for anyone who is interested in having a team!

I will have to post pictures from Tip a Cop as soon as i have some! I wish everyone a Happy Day! Get out and enjoy the wonderful weather!! =)~

Calling Once, Calling Twice-- SOLD!

Well, its not quite finished at this point, but as of right now we have finally sold the house! Our realtor called us yesterday (my birthday) and told us he had an offer for us! We ended up counter offering and they accepted it! What a relief it will be to not have to make 2 house payments! Well things seem to be picking up for us! We are slowly paying off the bills from my surgery and so we can start saving for the little baby! We will also be saving for many other things too, a new ACADIA, family vacation to Disneyland, New furniture and maybe someday a new house!

So, yesterday was my birthday and i am one of the luckiest girls around! I get to share my birthday with one of the most amazing girls, AMY!! Its a crazy story, right after i graduated from high school i went to IDFY at Targhee, there i met Amy. It was an awesome time we ended up finding out that we are related through marriage and we have the same birthday. Its crazy that we didnt meet each other sooner since we live in the same dang town! Well she is a few years younger then me, but all the same each year has been an eventful one for each of us! To continue the story with Amy, not to long after that i introduced Amy to her hubby and now they have the cutest little boy ever!!!

This year for my birthday i had to work so we didnt do anything exciting the day off, except go to lunch with my parents! We are however doing the party thing this friday night and it sounds like it is going to be a full house. Most of my family is going to be there along with most of Drews. I wouldnt be surprised if we shoved at least 30 people into that little house. The neighbors are going to think that we really are having a huge party because there is literally NO parking on my street! Its all good as long as the family is all together!!!
Well i was way to excited about the house not to post about it! Lets hope that everything will all work out!! Cross your fingers! :)
