Busy Busy Busy

Sorry, its been so long since i posted last time. Well i guess it actually has not been that long. It has been crazy busy around our house lately. Trying to get the other house finished and with Drew out of town its been kinda difficult.

So i am going to try and sale a house here! We have worked really really hard in trying to get Drews old house cleaned up so we can sale it! If anyone is interested go to www.snakerivermls.com and type in the MLS # 158270. It is only a two bedroom but it would be perfect for a newly married couple or a small family with just a few children. It has brand new almost everything, new carpet, windows, sliding glass door from the kitchen to the fenced backyard. It has new paint throughout and new tile in the kitchen and the bathroom. It has a one car attatched garage and its on a great street! It also has a roof that is just a few years old... It also comes with the fridge, stove and a dishwasher. It has propane heat as well! I tried to post some pictures but this thing decided to be stubborn. So anyone who is interested please please come take a look! Its listed right now at 97,000!

Drew spent the last 6 days in Oregon, at the IAMI class for marine patrol. He had alot of fun! You can tell he comes from the Lusk family, because he only took 30 pictures during the entire 6 days he was there. He said that it rained alot while he was there, the first day they got 2 inches and they got at least that the rest of the time except 1 day. There was about 500 other marine deputies there from all over the place. I am glad that he had fun, but i am sure glad that he is home!!!

So i dont know if everyone noticed but on the blogs that i follow i added the new Bingham County Search and Rescue blog... A couple of the girls and I decided that would be a good way for those in the county to see what kind of stuff we do- along with the members of the unit to check some pictures that we have from different events! So feel free to check it out and let us know what you think!

Logans Bubblegum Machine!

So I made a cake for a friends sons 4th birthday! We went up to Leos and he had a blast. Matter of fact we all did a couple of the other girls and i went through the jungle gym it was fun. Its a good thing that no body had a camera out when we went through!! Anyways here is a picture of Logans Cake! It turned out way cute! and he loved it!

Brian Regan!!

Last night i was able to go to the Brian Regan concert here in Blackfoot. This picture is when he came to Idaho Falls in 2007 for the Take Luck benefit for Zakk Hansen.. this picture is from afterwards when he came to Chilis and ate dinner with us!! He is hilarious! Thanks again Sheri

My Sweet Husband!

It the light of it beihg a few days past valentines day I figured i would say a few things about my husband (even though he never reads this- but i want the whole world to know.) I love my husband with all my heart, he is such a wonderful man! He is so caring and he is a great listener! He puts up with me more then most people should! I just wanted to let him know how grateful I am that he chose me to be his wife. He has truly brought the best out in me! I love you Drew!

So I have been slacking, i haven't posted my loves for the last few days so i figured that i would put them all together. Hope you enjoy

DAY 12



I love fire, all kinds of fire. We are lucky enought to have a wood fireplace in our home. We dont use it as a main source of heat but we love it most when it gets really cold outside. I ask drew to chop wood so we can start a fire and sit in front of it for several hours. The only problem is it gets really warm on that end of the house and then the furnace doesnt kick on. So if the bedroom doors are shut then you freeze. I love Campfires too! I love sitting around them when our family goes camping and playing silly games or just talking and laughing!

Day 13



I love camping, every year or almost every year my family on my moms side trys to go camping as a entire family at least once a year. A couple years ago we went to this place called Mosquito Flatts in Challis. This place has special meaning for me because one, This is the first place that Drew and I and the boys went somewhere as a family that was more then a few hours. Second, the last time we went there was the last time we got to go on a camping trip with my grandpa. He passed away about 2 weeks after we came home. Mosquito Flatts has so much to do up there. There is a little lake that has fish and there are four-wheeler trails all over the place that lead up to watch towers. You can see for forever up there!

DAY 14



I love fishing, its such a relaxin sport for me. The best part about fishing is when your sitting on the bank or in the middle of the water on a float tube, thinking about life and all the crazy things that are happening at that time.

DAY 15



I love dutchoven food! I am one of the luckiest women alive, I am married to the best dutchoven cook in the world! Well he is a good cook all the time, but dutchoven truly is his specialty! When we went to Mosquito Flatts he made dutchoven Enchiladas, they were wonderful and super easy! I love peach cobbler in the Dutchoven Too!

DAY 16

I love the treats that you get to have when you are camping my absoulute favorite is banana boats- they are so good!
first you tak a banana peel and all and cut down the center- being careful not to cut all the way through.


Then you split it open and stuff in Chocolate pieces, and mini marshmallows



Then you close it back up as much as you can, wrap it in foil and place it in the coals of the fire. Let it sit for awhile long enough to melt the chocolate and marshmallows. Take it out, open and enjoy!! It might not look very pretty on the outside but the middle is wonderful!!

With my post from yesterday being about how much i love spring i thought that i could post about my love for flowers--mostly all kinds of flowers but these are some of my favorites. I really love when i can plant things like these at my house to make it more colorful!!!
