Mommy Dearest!

Well we all know that sunday is Mothers Day, so i figured in the spirit of the event i thought i would post a little about my mom!!

From the time i can remember my mom stayed home with us growing up! I was lucky enough to have her their everyday when i woke up in the morning and everyday when i would come home from school. My mom is such a wonderful lady, she managed to get 4 kids of her own ready for the day and my 3 cousins as well. During the summertime we would be up early as soon as the cousins showed up and play til we were hungry, mom would drop everything make us lunch and we would go back to our activities.

My mom used to make little activities for us to do all the time. One memory that comes to mind is when she would save baby food jars and then buy stickers and we would decorate them. Then when we would clean up our messes, or do the things that she would ask us to do she would give us spare change to put in our jars. When we had enough money we got to shop at moms "Gift Shop." We had lots of toys to pick from it was so fun!

Another memory that I have and mom still teases me about was one time when mom had made us breakfast for lunch - we had the whole works pancakes, bacon and eggs and orange juice... I am not exactly sure what happened but i ended up putting the orange juice on my pancakes instead of syrup.. she made me eat it!! What a meany :)

I could go on forever of the many many wonderful memories I have growing up! But i just want her to know I love her and appreciate everything she has done for me! Love you mommy!!!


I also want to say a little something about the wonderful mother-in-law that I have! She is such an amazing women with such a strong spirit! She is always willing to help out with anyone who needs a helping hand! She always puts everyone else first and puts her needs on the back burner! I want her to know as well how amazing she is and how blessed I am to be apart of the Lusk family! There are some amazing women in that family.. and there is nothing like Saturday morning cakes at Grandma Bettes! I cant wait for the many years and many memories to come!!!
